Polish Orthodox Church Sends Aid to Children and Needy Families in Ukraine

Warsaw-Poland: The Parish of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Dubiny, of the Polish Orthodox Church donated several items to help children and needy families in Ukraine. Items like clothes, toys and school supplies were provided for a dozen families who are currently under the care of the Pochaev Lavra in Ukraine. A total of 420 kilograms of items were supplied. The supplies reached the benefactors on March 26, 2021.

The aid was delivered with the blessing of Metropolitan-Primate Sawa of the Polish Orthodox Church. The organizers of the collection were happy that the children could receive support before the feast of the Lord’s Resurrection.
