On 2nd February His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church of Theotokos “Troeruchnitsa” in Orehovo-Borisovo Yujnoe, Moscow, assisted by several clergymen of Chisinau Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord. This service followed the visit of the Metropolitan to Moscow, where His Eminence participated in the Divine Liturgy marking the 5th anniversary of His Holiness Kirill’s patriarchal enthronement, celebrated in Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

After the Divine Service attended by tens of church-goers, Archimandrite Benedict (Tsyrkov) thanked His Eminence Vladimir, on behalf of the clergy and parishioners, for the Archpastoral prayer, and mentioned that the services celebrated by the Hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Moldova are always penetrated with love, spiritual peace, and solemnity.

Father Benedict spoke with much warmth about the community of Moldovan church-goers that developed within the parish, gaining thus possibility to pray in their native language, even if they are far away from home.

In his turn, His Eminence Vladimir heartily thanked the hosts for this remarkable possibility to pray together to our Lord Christ, expressing hope that such brotherly communions will continue in the future.
