WE HONOUR FR K K KURIAKOSE 27TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY on 11th of January 2013. Divine Liturgy will be served at AT ST MARYS ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL BRAHMAVAR ON 11 JAN 2013 AT 8 AM.

Indian/Brahmavar: Fr K K Kuriakose was born in 1904 at Pathanamthitta district of Kerala. After primary studies he joined for theological studies at old seminary Kottayam. He was ordained to priesthood on 1928 and began his service at Brahmavar. He served Brahmavar cathedral for more than 50 years; from 1926 to 1943 then from 1953 util his demise till the year 1986. During his vicar-ship between 1954 to 1986 various activities were implemented. He is the founder of st Mary’s Syrian College at Brahmavar. Fr Kurikose served Orthodoxy with lots of sacrifices. He was not even entitled for proper monetary elements for living. He was loved by many, irrespective of religion and cast. Thousands of people attended his funeral ceremony with huge coverage in All India Radio and local news papers.
