An Eminent Orthodox Christian Scholar, Orator and Writer, Chorbishop Dr Kyriakose is the major inspiration behind the founding of OCP Society.

Born in Kerala Chorbishop Kyirakose moved USA in 1971. He founded the first Malayali Congregation/ Church in Chicago in 1971, which eventually became the first canonical Indian Malankarese Orthodox Church in North America- St. Thomas Orthodox Church of Chicago, the mother Church of all Indian Orthodox Churches in Chicago. Ordained as a Priest in 1970 he was elevated to the rank of Chorbishop in 1986 by His Holiness the Catholicos of the East, Basilius Mar Thoma Matthews II.

Chorbishop has two Bachelor’s Degrees: Philosophy & Classical Studies, and Christian Social Ministry (Pastoral Counseling)a Graduate Diploma in Theology, three Master’s degrees: M.A. in Philosophy, M.A. in Theology and M.Ed. (Education), Ph.D. in Philosophy –Epistemology and D.D., Honoris Causa from Notre Dame de Lafayette University.

Chorbishop has founded St. Thomas Orthodox Church, St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Ecumenical Council of Kerala Churches, International Education Consultants and Evaluators of Illinois, Inc., American Academy of Comparative-International Education, Inc, Voice of Orthodoxy, A Quarterly Theological Journal and Voice of Orthodoxy Foundation (the charitable wing of Voice of Orthodoxy). He has authored more than twenty five books and hundreds of articles.

K C Jacob joined Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE in 2008 and elected as the Chairman by the General Body. Holding a Masters in English Literature and has several years of experience in banking and finance. His areas of interest are Orthodox Church Management, literature and consultancy. He serves as financial adviser to several institutions.

George Alexander

One of the founders of Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE Society, George Alexander is a graduate in English Language & Literature, holds a Post Graduate Degree in Social Work and a Minor Research Degree in Social Sciences. He is a writer, orator and human resource trainer. He already has three international publications on Management, Orthodox Unity, Inter-Orthodox relations and has contributed number of articles on Orthodox Christianity, inter-orthodox relations, contemporary Orthodoxy and Orthodox unity.

The OCP Secretariat is a combination of Delegate Council, Representation Council and OCP Departments. The Secretariat oversees the activities of the various departments and the Delegate Council. OCP Secretary along with other department directors and Delegate Council members functions as the OCP Secretariat and it is responsible and functions according to the directions of the OCP Executive Council.

Maria Sidiropoulou was born in Xanthi, Greece. She completed undergraduate studies in Theology, in the School of Theology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2012, she was admitted to the graduate program at the School of Theology of the Faculty of Theology of the same university, specializing in the Sociology of Religion. Her research interests include Sociology, the Sociology of Religion, Theology and generally Religion in the public sphere. Her Master’s Thesis deals with the role of Religion and Identity in a Religious Community. She speaks Greek, English, German, reads and writes in Ancient Greek and Braille (system of writing for blind people). During her studies, she attended and participated conferences in Greece and abroad.

Solomon Kibriye was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on July 161968, the eldest of four children. He was ordained as a boy deacon in 1979 by His Late Holiness Abune Tekle Haimanot, Patriarch of Ethiopa, and served at Holy Trinity Cathedral there. While at Holy Trinity Cathedral he received a great deal of instruction not just on the beliefs and rituals of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, but also on the history of Ethiopia’s church and state.
Solomon left Ethiopian in 1981 to attend school in the United States, and to escape the increasingly tumultuous situation in Ethiopia. From 1985 onwards, Solomon has served as a deacon at New York City’s Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church of our Savior (Medhane Alem). He has been privileged to have served with several very learned clergymen, including the late Patriarch Abune Paulos who founded Medhane Alem Church while an exiled bishop. He has a very deep interest in historical subjects, dynastic history, religious affairs, and pan-Orthodox ecumenical relations, constitutional monarchism, and all things Ethiopian. In 2002 Solomon participated in the committee that organized the official Joint 1st Anniversary Memorial Service of the Oriental Orthodox Churches of the New York Area for the September 11 Terriorist Attacks.
Solomon currently lives in New York City and works in the Legal Department of a large Investment Bank. He continues to serve as a Deacon at the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church of Our Savior.
