BISHOP DEMETRIOS OF MOKISSOS REVIEWS NEW UPDATE ON FAMOUS MYRRH EMITTING ICON OF ST JOHN THE BAPTIST

CHICAGO, IL: His Grace Bishop Demetrios of Mokissos officiated services  at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Homer Glen, Illinois.

While at the church, he witnessed a new update to their famous Myrrh Emitting Icon of St John the Baptist. That icon on their Iconostasis has been emitting myrrh for the past few years.

About a month ago Fr Sotirios “Sam” Dimitriou noticed a new stream of myrrh now emitting from the Icon of Christ, emitting from his left hand fingertips, which rest on the Holy Bible.
