Global: The Senate of the United States of America has unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the Armenian genocide. However, there have been several attempts by the White House to block such a resolution. Turkey responded that the recognition of the Armenian genocide is a political show.

In October 2019, the United States House of Representatives officially passed a bill recognizing the Turkish Ottoman government genocide of the Armenians, Arameans, Assyrians, and Greeks.

Armenian Genocide was one of the worst crimes against humanity, committed by the Ottoman Turks against the Armenian people in the Ottoman Empire during the W.W. I. Syriacs, Arameans, Assyrians, and Greeks were killed in large numbers as well.
