Slavic festival kicks off in Bryansk

The Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has opened the 43d traditional international festival of Slavic culture, uniting Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, in the city of Bryansk. He urged the Orthodox countries to stick to the common faith which provides for unity despite political controversies.

On June 25, the Slavs, who account for more than 300 mln all over the world, mark the day of Friendship and Unity.
