Serbian Patriarch received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received His Excellency Aleksander Chepurin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 26 December 2017.

The distinguished Ambassador Chepurin thanked His Holiness for a cordial audience during which the Serbian Patriarch congratulated to His Excellency the forthcoming Great feast-days of the Nativity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Serbian Patriarch Irinej thanked Ambassador Chepurin for the attention shown by this visit as well as for the recent hospitality given by the President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin in Moscow on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the reestablishment of the Patriarchate in the sister Russian Orthodox Church.
