Serbian Patriarch Irinej solemnly welcomed in Banja Luka

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch was welcomed in front of the church of Holy Trinity in Banjaluka by His Grace Bishop Jefrem of Banjaluka with hierarchs, clergy and the faithful in the afternoon on 24 July 2017.

Then the solemn rite of doxology followed, which was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana and Their Graces Bishops Atanasije of Bihac-Petrovac and Sergije of Frankfurt and All Germany, as well as Mileta Radojevic, PhD, Director of the Bureau for Cooperation with Churches and Religious Communities of the Republic of Serbia.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, came to the Diocese of Banjaluka regarding the celebration of the blessing of the church of Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God at in the monastery of Osovica. Regarding this occasion, the Patriarch is officiating the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at Osovica Monastery on 25 July 2017 at 9 a.m.
