Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Gracanica monastery

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the priesthood, monks and the faithful,welcomed His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej at Gracanica monastery, Kosovo and Metochia, on the eve of the greatest Serbian Church national holiday, St. Lazarus of Kosovo Day.

Next to Patriarch Irinej, His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Their Graces Bishops retired Atanasije of Zahumlje-Herzegovina and Jovan of Slavonia also were present.

After doxology and  Vesper service, which were attended by Minister of Justice in the Government of Republic of Serbia Mr. Nikola Selakovic, Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia Mr. Marko Djuric, as well as by political representatives of the Kosovo Serbs, a concert of the Symphonic orchestra of the Radio-Television of Serbia was held.

Following the end of the concert, which was broadcasted by Radio-Television of Serbia and Radio-Television of Republic of Srpska, the main award of St. Lazarus Day festivities “Golden Cross of Prince Lazarus” was handed in to Mr. Dusan Kovacevic, a playwright from Belgrade.
