20/1/2011

PanARMENIAN.Net – Orthodox Russian Orthodox Deacon Andrei Kurayev said that a document on unification of the Russian Orthodox Church with the Armenian Apostolic and Coptic Churches was being prepared in 1990s.

However, according to him, the churches recognize only the first three of the oecumenical councils, that is why the unification did not take place, Arguments and Facts reported.

  1. This was my position which I had inherited as a Protestant. Then it seems the Lord put forth the question what problem I had with the rest: If I accepted the former, then I already believed the latter, which simply reassert the same truths to their own generations. Would it have to be so difficult to reach such an understanding amongst the hierarchs?
