UK: As someone involved in Education and in the Coptic Orthodox Church, I feel both causes are close to my heart. With this in mind, I have decided to raise money for the St Kyrel Trust.

St Kyrel Trust is a UK based Charity which works to provide for vulnerable Coptic youth in Egypt. They work to provide them with basic necessities such as food, clothes, transport, books, stationery and providing them with a safe place to stay. This allows them to attend School and improve their lives significantly through education and personal independence.

In order to raise the money, I will be walking the 118km medieval Camino Ingles pilgrim route from Ferrol to Santiago De Compostela over the course of 5 days in July. The idea of walking the Camino de Compostela for charity came when James (who is also walking it) stated his intention to walk the Camino for his 30th birthday, this idea developed into walking it for charity and so the plan came about and I selected St Kyrel Trust as my charity of choice to help provide education for underprivileged children in Egypt.

So, please help in supporting this cause by sponsoring me for my 118km Pilgrimage. I will provide daily updates (via Twitter) and let you know of my progress.

God bless and Keep you.
Dcn Daniel
