Relics of Saint Hierarch Nectarie of Eghina, Healer of Diseases, Brought for Worship to Bucharest from 14 – 30 October 2012

The Press Office of the Romanian Patriarchate informs us:

As every year, on the occasion of the feast of Saint Pious Dimitrios the New, Protector of Bucharest – 27 October, the Romanian Patriarchate will bring, with the blessing of His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel, holy relics kept by other sister Orthodox Churches to be worshipped by tens of thousands pilgrims who attend the annual pilgrimage organised on the Patriarchate Hill in Bucharest.

This year, 2012, the faithful and pilgrims who will come to pray the relics of Saint Pious Dimitrios the New, Protector of Bucharest, and of Saints Constantine and Helen, Protectors of the Patriarchal Cathedral, will have the possibility to worship the holy relics of Saint Hierarch Nectarie of Eghina, healer of diseases, which will be in Bucharest from 24 – 30 October 2012.
