Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate – 25/5/18

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met with the crowds of the faithful who gathered after the Holy Qurobo in the Patriarchal Center in Puthencruz to meet His Holiness and receive his blessings.

His Beatitude Mor Baselios Thomas I, Catholicos of India, welcomed His Holiness and said that he wishes to see the problems solved and the church in peace, for Jesus Christ is the source of peace.

In his speech, His Holiness expressed his happiness to meet the crowd of faithful, who are in pain and are forced either to be separated from their churches or to accept being served by priests from other churches. He assured that he wants to be with them, and that as a father, he cannot stay away from his spiritual children when they are in deep need for him.
