Syriac Orthodox Icons – 8/7/18

USA: A clip from the Q&A session held at SYGG 2018 in USA. Our Patriarch His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II address the role of iconography in the Syriac Orthodox Church and the misuse of statues, sacred heart and other things which are not part of our tradition and faith.

Our Holy Father reaffirmed everything we set out to do when we started this page a year back; and we continue to do so by the grace of God! Though we could not attend SYGG, we are delighted to see this topic answered, strengthening our resolve to promote the traditions of our Holy Church.
