His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met with His Excellency Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, at the Cliff House in Kerala, India. His Excellency welcomed His Holiness and the accompanying delegation to India.

His Holiness thanked His Excellency for his positive role in the current situation in India. His Holiness was accompanied by His Beatitude Mor Baselios Thomas I, Catholicos of India, their Eminences, the accompanying delegation to India: Mor Theophilus Georges Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar for the Patriarchal Archdiocese in Damascus, and Mor Timotheos Matthew, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, and a number of their Eminences Archbishops from our church in India.
