Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II Received Members of the Syrain Parliament

Damascus: A delegation from the Syrian Parliament visited His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II at the Patriarchal Residence in Damascus. They congratulated His Holiness on the occasion of his enthronement as Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. Most of the Members of Parliaments were from the District of Hassakeh.

His Holiness welcomed the esteemed guests and thanked the delegation for their work in the public sector. He encouraged them to continue their vital role to serve the citizens in the difficult conditions that exist in the country.

Various important topics were also discussed.
