Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate – 16/10/17

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II of Antioch and All East visited His Beatitude Greek Orthodox Patriarch John X of Antioch and All East at the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in Damascus. During the meeting, His Holiness and His Beatitude discussed Church matters as well as the recent developments concerning the situation in Syria and Lebanon.

His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar in the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, Very Rev. Raban Cyril Babi, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Spiritual Courts, and deacon Imad Syryany.

The meeting was also attended by His Grace Bishop Efraim Malouli, Bishop of Seluecia, Patriarchal Vicar, and Director of the Patriarchal Office.
