Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II Consecrates Altar, Icon & Monument for the Martyrs of the Syriac Genocide Sayfo

Damascus: His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated the altar of the Martyrs of the Syriac Genocide Sayfo. Their Beatitudes Patriarchs of Antioch Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan, John X and Gregorius III Lahham also attended the consecration. Their Holinesses Catholicose Karekin II and Catholicose Aram I were also represented by a delegation of bishops.  The Archbishops of the Holy Synod of the Syrian Orthodox Church of Antioch also participated.

His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II also consecrated the new icon of the Martyrs of the Syriac Genocide Sayfo.

Later His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inaugurated the new Sayfo Monument at Mor Aphrem Monastery in Maarat Saydnaya.

Their Beatitudes Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan and John X and a delegation representing Catholicos Karekin II and Catholicose Aram I were also present along with bishops and dignitaries.
