Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II celebrates Divine Liturgy at St Mark Syriac Orthodox Church in New Jersey

USA: His Holiness Patriarch Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated Holy Qurobo at St. Mark Syriac Orthodox Cathedral in Teaneck, NJ. During the liturgy, His Holiness elevated Rev. Fr. Anthony De Luca to the rank of Chor-bishop (Corepiscopos -Khuroyo).

During the sermon, His Holiness thanked Khuroyo Anthony for his service in multiple capacities to the Holy Church and its blessed members around the world.

V. Rev. Fr. Anthony De Luca is an ambassador to the United Nations for the Syriac Orthodox Church in New York.
