Kerala- India: During the last week of September, the Orthodoxy Cognate PAGE delegation met with Metropolitan Mor Mairam Philipose who is the Primate of the Eglise Syro-Orthodoxe-Francophone Church (a small Oriental Orthodox Church based in Paris- France). The church is in the process of gaining recognition from the Oriental Orthodox Communion.

The OCP delegation consisted of Varghese John (Director Dept. of Publications) and Dr. Ajesh T Philip (Delegate of the Indian Sub-Continent). They discussed the current status of the Syro-Orthodox Church and the challenges encountered in church life. Metropolitan Mar Mariam Phillip was presented with the OCP icon of St. Gregorious of Parumala. They were also presented with traditional Lamp (Nilavillaku).
