Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin – 8/2/18

With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the Publishing Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has published “Praise of the Word” by Grigor Marashetsi. It has been prepared for publication by Dr. Arshak Madoyan.

The lyrical work “Praise of the Word” by Grigor Marashetsi, a 12th century spiritual figure, bibliographer, and founder of the Hervants monastery, is dedicated to the Feast of Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, and is being published for the first time.

In addition to the history of the Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God, Grigor Marashetsi has also reflected on the tradition of her image.

The book was published by the patronage of the Sarkis Gabrielyan Fund.
