Metropolitan Amfilohije in a three-day visit to the Orthodox Archdiocese of Ohrid

His Eminence Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral kyr Amfilohije as a sign of the support to His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan, as well as to Bishops, priests and believers of the Orthodox Archbishopric of Ohrid, made a three-day visit to the Republic of Macedonia.

On June 29, at the Monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos near Skopje, which has been devastated recently by the police, Metropolitan Amfilohije was solemnly welcomed by abbess Kirana with the sisterhood.

Next day, on June 30, at the same monastery Metropolitan Amfilohije served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop David of Stobi and locum tenens of Strumica and priests of the Ohrid Archbishopric.

The same day Metropolitan Amfilohije visited in the afternoon the monastery of St. John Chrysostom near Bitolj.

The Metropolitan was nicely welcomed by His Grace Bishop Marko of Bregalnica and locum tenens of Bitol and abbess Olimpiada with the sisterhood.

Metropolitan Amfilohije was a guest on July 1 of His Grace Bishop Joakim of Polog-Kumanovo and locum tenens of Debar-Kicevo.
