St. Barnabas Orthodox Mission Kenya – 27/11/8

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

My month of prayer during the month of my ordination anniversary month during which I attempt to deepen my prayers for Saint Barnabas Orphanage and School, as well as all the other prayer requests that were sent to me has concluded. I am deeply grateful for those of you who joined me in those prayers and who donated to support me in this ministry.

Prayer is hard work. It is rejuvenating and tiring at the same time. It is humbling because God brings to my mind my inadequacy and limited abilities to make a difference in the life of the children here at the orphanage and school. I can sense the great hope they in me. It strikes me like a sharp needle in my heart knowing those limitations. However, I have hope in God that by His Grace and according to His Holy Will, the needs of the children He has placed under my care will be taken care of.

Thank you all who continue to support Saint Barnabas Orphanage and School with your prayers and donations. God fulfills in this ministry all that is lacking through your prayers. click here to make donations

May God bless you!
In Christ,
Father Methodios (JM Kariuki)

This may be the first book of its kind to call for the creation of a global platform for all Orthodox Christians. The book tries to provide unique aspects of Orthodox Christianity. The work is a combination of personal thoughts of the author, history, contemporary Orthodoxy, dialogue and Pan-Orthodox Christian approach.
