Holy Synod of Bulgarian Orthodox Church appoints new Bulgarian priest in Bucharest


Bucharest. The Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church has appointed a new priest in Bucharest. This is archpriest Yoan Ivanov, a cleric of Ruse Eparchy.
On 25 February 2011 he will take over as a parish priest in Bucharest. The previous Bulgarian priest there, Petar Totev, asked to be suspended from the post and be appointed in Saints Cyril and Methodius church in New York.
