Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate – 12/9/17

His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at the Basilica in Brussels.

During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Mor George Kourieh, Patriarchal Vicar in Belgium, France and Luxemburg, and Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeera and Euphrates as well as the priests of the Archdiocese.

The Syriac faithful in Brussels attended the Holy Qurobo and the Choirs of all the Syriac churches in Brussels took part in it. The Syriac Scouts of the Archdiocese helped in organizing and received His Holiness with the chants and songs.

In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about faith in actions and not with words only. He added that the ministry each one is called to fulfill in the church is complete when each member does the will of God and cooperates with the other members for the good of the Church.

After the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness blessed the faithful who gathered at the Hall in Kraaimen.
