Hierarchal Liturgy in Monastery Ostrog- Montenegro

On the Fifth Sunday of Great Lent, on the 2nd of April 2017, Divine Liturgy was concelebated by  Bishop Emeritus Atanasije of Zaholm and Herzegovina and Bishop Jovan of Pakrac, Slavonia, in the Upper  Ostrog Monastery.

The Fifth Sunday dedicated to Venerable Mary of Egypt was prayerfully marked in the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin in the Upper Ostrog, in presence of the relics of St. Basil of Ostrog. The Divine Liturgy was performed with the concelebration of the Ostrog brother hieromonk Sergius, Archpriest-staurophor Miroljub Stojanovic from Nis and deacon Crsta Avdalovic.

Many God-loving faithful from various parts of the world came explicitly in order to make pilgrimage to the Ostrog Miracle-worker and to attend the Eucharistic gathering. After a reading from the Acts of the Apostles, Bishop Atanasije delivered a sermon.
