Hasio Issac Mor Osthatheos visited His Excellency Syrian Ambassador to India

Mor Osthatheos Issac, Metropolitan of Delhi Diocese was invited by His Excellency Riad Abbas, the Ambassador of Syria.

His Excellency requested the Syrian Orthodox Church in India to pray for sustaining peace in Syria. His Excellency mentioned that the doors of the Republic of Syria is always open for the refugees from the neighboring countries and added that when issues started in Iraq, millions of people including Christians find refuge in Syria.

The government is providing subsidized food to all the people in Syria. He was so thankful for the prayer and support from His Holiness the Patriarch expressed to Syria. V. Rev. Markose Corepicscopo accompanied the Metropolitan.
