Delhi-India: Dear Friends in Christ, Greetings! We would like to invite you, your family and friends for this year’s Delhi Gospel Convention to be held at the St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral, Hauz Khas on Saturday and Sunday, October 20 & 21, 2018.

Fr. Alexander Kurien, a Senior Staff of the U.S. Government and a Senior Priest will be the keynote speaker. Achen, based in Washington DC, leads a very well balanced secular and spiritual life. He will share his real-life experiences and spiritual struggles just as you are facing every day in your lives. Along with his rich academia, administrative acumen and 31 years of international pastoral ministry, Achen has a great passion for serving his Lord Jesus Christ. He has preached across 60 plus countries serving his Lord, while has traveled through 147 countries serving his nation. Determined to help us delve deeper, yet in a simplistic manner, into the Holy Bible, Achen will be focusing on the theme ‘ARISE’ by deriving verses from St. Paul (Ephesians 5: 14) and Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 60: 1). His primary focus will be is to help us rise above the clouds of darkness through the light shone upon us by our Lord Jesus Christ. Registration begins on Saturday at 9 am.

The program will include Alexander Achen sharing his spiritual journey, music, prayer, and meditation to reconnect with our Redeemer. Sessions will be in 100% in English to connect with all generations of our Delhi Diaspora generations. There will be a “Christian Parenting” session on Sunday after the English Liturgy. We invite everyone without denominational and cultural barriers to hearing the gospel. Please, pray for the event and join us during this blessed weekend to prioritize our lives, “ARISE”, and receive the touch of the Holy Spirit.
