Addis Ababa: The annual meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church has come to an end on 2nd November 2015. The sessions lasted 12 days of intense discussion on various topics.

The apex body of the Ethiopian church has made the following decision:

To establish a committee  to support  areas with lack of rain and water.

To establish a committee to work against corruption and mall administration.

To establish a 24 hour global TV channel to educate the faithful on Orthodoxy.

To control medias which work in the name of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

To take intense steps to protect Orthodox tradition and properties from other religious groups.

To expand Orthodox Mission and Evangelism in Ethiopia and to foreign dioceses, especially in Japan and Korea.

All Orthodox should be doing this. We have a world to evangelize, and we need to do this constantly.
