Global: The Volos Theological Academy in Greece has launched a new book titled The Dialogue between Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches. The book is edited by Dr.Christine Chaillot (world-famous Pan-Orthodox Christian activist). About the Book
The main purpose of this collective volume is to foster the Theological Dialogue between the Eastern Orthodox Churches (the four ancient Patriarchates of Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem, that of Georgia and Patriarchates founded later in Russia, Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria, as well as some autocephalous and autonomous Churches) and Oriental Orthodox Churches (of the Coptic, Armenian, Ethiopian and Syriac traditions), towards the mutual understanding and final overcoming of the breach began with a theological controversy concerning the relationship between the human and divine natures in Christ centered on the expression “two natures (physeis) in one Person”.
