The third pilgrimage-festival devoted to the feast of Transfiguration of Jesus—also known as “Vardavar” among Armenians—will be held on July 12-15 in Old Crimea, Ukraine, Analitika.at.ua informs, quoting Primate of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Crimea’s abbot, Father Hayrik Hovhannisyan.

Along the lines of the event, Crimea’s creative groups will perform, and films will be screened on the people living in this peninsula and their cultural heritage.

The festival is organized in order to preach and consolidate the positive image of Old Crimea.

The event will be held under the auspices of Fr. Hovhannisyan, and it will come to a close with a Divine Service at the Holy Cross Armenian Church of Crimea and a gala concert.
