Metropolitan Volodymyr met with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem

On April 25 the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Metropolitan Volodymyr met with Patriarch Theophilos III of the Holy City of Jerusalemand All Palestine.

The meeting was also attended by Metropolitan Volodymyr of Pochaiv, Chairman of the DECR of the UOC Archbishop Anthony of Boryspil, Secretary for the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Archbishop Alexander of Pereyslav-Khmelnytskyy and Vyshneve, representatives of the diplomatic circles.

During the conversation Metropolitan Volodymyr greeted guests on arrival on the Ukrainian land and recalled the meeting with the Patriarch of the Holy Land. Also, His Beatitude Volodymyr asked Patriarch Theophilos for blessings and prayers at Jerusalem’s holy sites.

In response, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem congratulated Metropolitan Volodymyr on the feast of Easter and invited to send prayers to the Holy Land.

“We are always glad to see you in Jerusalem, so we show our unity and the only witness of Christ Crucified and Risen”, said Patriarch Theophilos.
