This is the third Orthodox Church in Pakistan. Already there are the Greek and Coptic Orthodox Churches in Pakistan.
With the Blessings of Metropolitan Hilarion (Primate of Russian Church Outside Russia (Moscow Patriarchate), Russian Orthodox church was opened in Sargodha, Pakistan on 30th January, 2012. Rev.Father Adrian Augustus is a parish Priest in Sydney who serves in Pakistan. He preaches traditional Christian faith and creed of the Orthodox Church with its historical background.
As per the information 57 people were baptized and 117 people got the sacrament of chrismation by Rev. Father Adrian. The Pakistna Mission is under the supervision of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese of the Russian Church.
The Orthodox community in Sargodha requests your prayers, blessings, spiritual guidance and support so that this newly born church in Pakistan may grow day by day.
