Addis Ababa: An important meeting of the Holy Synod of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church was concluded on 5th November 2011. A number of important matters regarding Church life was raised for discussion.
It was decided to resume talks with the Ethiopian Holy Synod in Exile based in USA under the leadership of former Patriarch Abune Makarios.
It was decided that a team four Archbishops to be formed and to make a deep study on the current problems faced by the Church in Ethiopia as well as a report shall be submitted to the Holy Synod within the next two months.
Apart from these a large number of topics of vital importance where discussed.
