The Patriarch of Jerusalem at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

On June 24 arrived with an official visit to Poland Patriarch of Jerusalem and all Palestine – Theophil III. One of the points in the program of the visit of Patriarch Theophilus III, was laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw. While placing a wreath the Patriarch was accompanied by Metropolitan of Warsaw and the all Poland Sawa, and the newly appointed chief of Orthodox Ordinary in the Polish Army – Bishop Jerzy.

The Patriarch laid flowers at the monument to plate and then listened to his story. He was particularly interested in urns containing earth from the battlefields located in the cassette placed at the Tomb.
