India/Kerala State/Kottayam: It was indeed a great moment for the OBL Forum delegation to meet His Holiness Aram I. The Catholicose is on a visit to the Indian Orthodox Church. The OBL Forum delegation consisting of Rev Fr Thomas John(Advisory Board Member), K C Jacob( Advisory Board Member), Subin Varghese (Vice-Chairman& Secretary), Varghese John Thottapuzha (OBL Associate), and George Alexander (Spokesperson – OBL Forum) met with His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Armenain delegation comprised of H.E. Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian, Prelate of Tehran, H.G. Bishop Nareg Alemezian, Ecumenical Officer, and Rev. Fr. Mesroh Sarikissian Secretary to the Catholicos. The meeting was hosted at Winster Castle , Kottaym District, Kerala State, India.

Before the departure OBL Delegation was conveyed special blessings and prayers from Rt Rev Dr Kyriakose Thottupuram of Chicago(OBL Chancellor) via telephone and wishes from Lejit George (Chairman-OBL Forum)

On behalf of the OBL Forum, His Holiness Catholicose Aram I was interview by Mr K C Jacob. Mr George Alexander explained the mission and works of OBL Forum.

As a token of Love Rev Fr Thomas John presented an icon to the His Holiness Aram I with icon of St Thomas. Rest of the delegation members were presented with the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Also the Armenian Delegation were also presented with the Kerala style Traditional Lamp (Nilavilakku). The meeting lasted for 45 minutes. The meeting was hosted by His Grace Dr Gabriel Mar Gregorious Metropolitan ( President- Department of Ecumenical Relations) of the Indian Orthodox Church. Catholicose Aram I presented Armenian Crosses to the entire members of the OBL
delegation.

OBL delegation submitted the following files to Catholicose

1. Oriental Orthodox Churches- Suggestion for increased Cooperation between Oriental Churches as well as between the Easter and Oriental Churches.

2. Details on OBL Mission and activities.
