Greek Orthodox Church Patriarch Expresses Appreciation To Religious Tolerance In Ethiopia

Greek Orthodox Church Patriarch, his beatitude Tewdros II (Patriarchate of Alexandria) expressed appreciation to religious tolerance in Ethiopia.

The Patriarch who was here on an eight-day visit to Ethiopia said up on his departure to home at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport that he was impressed with the tolerance in which the various religious sects live with in the country.

He also expressed appreciation to the good hospitality accorded to him during his stay here. While here, the patriarch met and held talks with President Girma Wolde-giorgis and Ethiopian Orthodox Church Patriarch, Abune-Paulos, members of the Greek community in Ethiopia.

He was seen off up on departure by senior clergy of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, members of the Greek and Egyptian Communities, Ambassadors of Greek and Egypt to Ethiopia.
