Celebration of St. Sava’s Day in Belgrade

His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia will celebrate a feast of St. Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop, at the Diocese of Nis. The same day, at 20:00 hours, His Holiness will attend the St. Sava’s Day Academy at the Belgrade’s Sava Center, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia..
His Grace Bishop Irinej of Bachka will serve the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy and with it the St. Sava’s Day celebrations will commence, school Patron Saint feasts, at the Faculty of the Ortodox Theology of the University of Belgrade. Bishop of Bachka will serve with the concelebration of Their Graces Bishop Maksim of Western America and Irinej of Australia and New Zealand. A formal St. Sava’s Day Academy will follow with a rich cultural and artistic program.
