The Deanery of the Russian Orthodox Church patriarchal parishes in Turkmenistan launched its official website in the course of the visit to Ashgabat of the Bishop of Smolensk and Vyazemsk Feofilakt, manager of Orthodox parishes in the country.
The website turkmenistan.smoleparh.ru presents news of the Patriarch’s district, information about the parishes in Turkmenistan, historical information about churches in the country. In addition, the site features translations of books of the Old Testament (the Pentateuch) and the New Testament in the Turkmen language.
